Blue Lake Park

Three miles east of Troutdale, is Blue Lake Park.  At 101 acres, there is plenty of space for all kinds of activities such as picnicking, softball, basketball, hiking,  volleyball, disc golf, and more.  The park also offers boating, fishing, and swimming in the lake.

Hours vary by season.

Parking: $5 per car.

Rhodendron Gardens.JPG

Enjoy a peaceful walk amongst the rhododendrons and azaleas, and other plants, trees, and waterfalls.  You might even see beavers, muskrats, or river otters.

The Enchanted Forest

Just a few miles south of Salem is The Enchanted Forest theme park.  With its various rides and attractions, it's not hard to spend all day having fun.

Powell Butte park is an extinct cinder cone volcano covering 611 acres.  There are plenty of hiking trails, a great view, and you might even see some wildlife such as rabbits, pheasants, gray foxes, or deer.

See what early Oregon life was like at Philip Foster Farm.  Located near of the Oregon Trail, early settlers were able use Foster's general store and blacksmith shop for 
much  needed supplies.
