About Pictures

Hello, Summit families! Please make sure to take pictures and videos of the kids every day, and post them to the Facebook page.  These should be posted to the main Facebook page, rather than in a separate album.  Pictures in a Facebook album are harder to find, so some might be missed.

There are a few specific things that our friends at Shelton-Walt, and the parents back home in China, would like to see.  When taking the pictures and videos, please get:
     1.  Ten pictures, of each student, every day, by 9:00 pm.  You can send more, if you want to.
     2.  A variety of pictures.  For example, if going on a hike it's best to send a picture of the hike on the trail, standing by a tree, looking at a waterfall, and enjoying the view, rather than four similar pictures by the same tree.
     3.  The pictures should be horizontal, not vertical.  Shelton-Walt can take the images, put them into a video, and show them to the parents back home.  When images switch between vertical and horizontal, it's harder to add them to a video.
     4.  The pictures should show what is going on.  Using the hike example again, a picture of a student at a waterfall should be far enough back to get at least part of the waterfall in the picture.  That way, each picture tells a story of what the student is doing.

For the videos, please get:
     1.  At least two videos of each student, every day, by 9:00 pm.
     2.  The videos should also be horizontal.  They can also be put into the videos that Shelton-Walt makes for the parents back home, so they need to match the pictures.
     3.  They should be at least 15 seconds long.
     4.  They should show what is going on.
Just like the pictures, the videos should tell a story, and not be too close up.

Below are some examples of the types of pictures and videos they're looking for.
